Association of Women Engineers and Architects

The purpose and working areas of MÜKAD are generally as follows.

1. Atatürk İlke ve Devrimlerine uygun Çağdaş eğitimin sağlanabilmesini destekliyoruz, Mühendislik ve Mimarlık Fakültelerinde eğitim gören ekonomik açıdan dezavantajlı başarılı genç kızlarımıza burs veriyor, meslek hayatlarında başarılı olabilmeleri için destek oluyoruz.
2. We work on the problems and solutions of gender inequality in the professional lives of Women Engineers and Architects.
3. We work to protect our environment and cultural heritage.

In order to achieve our goals within our fields of work, we organize webinars, congresses, symposiums, seminars and courses, and participate in European Union projects and coordination studies. By the help of our e-journal system published on the internet, we reach different sectors of engineering and architecture, and we provide resources to our scholarship holders with the advertisements we receive in our journal.

We support all our women engineers and architects to work in their professional lives in terms of job opportunities, wages and management staff equality as they deserve and for this purpose, we set out to make all the contribution we can as an association within the framework of our laws.

We hope that this non-governmental organization will grow and strengthen with the contributions of all of you.
